Journal of Cement Based Composites (CEBACOM)

Journal of Cement Based Composites (CEBACOM) is a peer reviewed and quarterly published international journal. CEBACOM welcomes research across all cement based composites, including cement, concrete, special concrete, composites, numerical modelling, simulation, durability etc. Original research results, scientific reviews and short communication notes in various fields of cement based composites are considered for publication. The publication language of the journal is English. Manuscripts previously published are not accepted. Manuscripts with a suitable balance of practice and theory are preferred. A review article is expected to give in-depth information and satisfying evaluation of a specific scientific or technologic subject, supported with an extensive list of sources. Short communication notes prepared by researchers who would like to share the first outcomes of their on-going, original research work are welcome. Furthermore, the papers presented in important conferences, will be published in a special issue of CEBACOM, in case of being sufficient papers.

CEBACOM is loyal to open access for academic work, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and to use them for any other lawful purpose. All the articles published in this journal are free to access immediately from the date of publication. We do not charge any fees for any reader to download articles for their own scholarly use.

CEBACOM has No Article Processing or Article Submission Charges.

Every accepted ready-to-publish paper will be visible online. 

CEBACOM offers an optional Rapid Review (Fast-Track) process for authors who require accelerated evaluation and publication.
    •    Manuscripts undergo editorial screening within 24 hours.
    •    Eligible submissions are sent to expert reviewers who agree to provide reports within 48–72 hours.
    •    At least two independent peer-review reports are required.
    •    Accepted manuscripts are processed and published Online First within 1–3 days.

The Fast-Track option does not guarantee acceptance. All submissions must comply with CEBACOM’s ethical standards, scientific quality requirements, and COPE guidelines. The Editorial Board may withdraw a manuscript from the Fast-Track process if ethical or academic concerns arise.
